Waterberg falls into an area identified by the Limpopo Province as its major asset from a tourism perspective, and the Provincial Government has made a commitment to invest in the marketing and infrastructure of the area.

The access roads to Waterberg are top class, with all but 8km being tarred, and negotiations are underway with the Roads Agency Limpopo to extend the tar road up to the entrance of Waterberg. Waterberg has in excess of 5,200 hectares of rolling hills, valleys and grassland plains covered with bushveld.

Sixty five wildlife estates are tucked deep into the game reserve on large stands designed for total privacy maximizing the bush and nature experience

The area is malaria free and the site has an abundance of surface and subsurface water, with many existing dams and water features on the rivers.

The Bisophere Golf & Nature Reserve adheres to the principles prescribed and has embraced this project by appointing a team of local experts, who will ensure that the very best and most responsible use of land is employed, benefiting both the environment and the community.

The property has an existing game lodge and conference centre which accommodates 100 guests. This is currently being reconstructed to make up the first phase of the founder lodge and hotel accommodation.
